The Mission Statement of the Church Media and Library Ministry Team
The library of Third Baptist Church of Owensboro, Kentucky exists for our church family, community, and those we reach through our ministries and to:
- Provide the highest quality Christian Media materials available.
- Promote the work of the church's ministry teams in cooperation with the leadership team and staff.
- Train and teach our people to use the library's resources effectively.
We do these tasks to meet the needs of the user in obedience to the Great Commission.
COME VISIT OUR CHURCH LIBRARY
We have a variety of Christian fiction by today's favorite authors as well as non-fiction, biographies, reference books to assist your study of the Bible and books for children of all ages.
Feature Book of the Month:
Billy Graham, world-renowned author, preacher, and evangelist has written a
new book titled "Nearing Home." This book is now available in our library.
Rev. Graham's life and ministry have been dedicated to the here and now but
always with a happy-ever-after in view. In this moving narrative he reflects on
his life and comtemplates what God still has in store for him. He also shares how
he has learned to deal with grief, uncertainty, and loss by focusing on the promises
found in the Bible.
